Outbound HTTPS on port 443 is the default. TLS 1.2 is the minimum and TLS 1.3 is preferred.

Identity and signing
Installation keypairs, Ed25519-signed entitlements, pinned authority keys, timestamps, nonces, monotonic sequences, replay protection, and idempotency protect connected actions.
Safe updates
Signed manifests, SHA-256 package verification, protected backup, additive migration, health testing, and rollback preserve customer data.
Limited commands
No arbitrary remote shell, unrestricted file browser, customer-independent owner access, or private UMOSTEK signing key is placed in customer software.
